Come March 4th, with the Immortal Pillars expansion, Age of Mythology: Retold will delve into fresh myths and cultures while opening its doors to new PlayStation 5 adventurers. Players on PS5 will explore the same content offered on Xbox and PC, take on the role of Arkantos, select their pantheon, and seek out divine favor. You’ll also be able to enhance your gameplay with the new Chinese pantheon through Immortal Pillars.

Prepare for some big news, Age of Empires IV fans! Last year, we hinted at new DLCs for Age of Empires IV, and today we’re thrilled to announce not one, but two DLCs slated for 2025! These expansions build on previous concepts, like variant civilizations, while listening closely to your feedback.

Variant civilizations offer a snapshot of the diverse strategies and military forces various historical factions used, and we’re working on some thrilling ones, with one indeed garnering significant buzz since The Sultans Ascend. These DLCs will not only tweak strategic gameplay but also focus on the finer aspects, such as fresh units and buildings, and in some cases, they’ll visually update shared units for clarity and to keep your experience vibrant.

We’re also exploring unique game modes in both DLCs set to release this year, focusing on shorter, replayable experiences that prod you to experiment with new playstyles while evolving your skills over time.
