Fortnite Update Alters XP Rewards Structure

Epic Games has been making waves in the Fortnite community with some notable changes to how players earn XP. In a bid to enhance the gaming experience and address ongoing player concerns, they’ve revamped the Daily Bonus Goal rewards and fixed a significant issue with LEGO Fortnite Quest XP. It’s been a whirlwind of adjustments ever since the rollout of Chapter 6, Season 1 ushered in a wave of new content and tweaks to the beloved game.

The latest season, dubbed Hunters, introduces an intriguing Feudal Japan aesthetic. This brings a delightful mix of ancient and modern elements to the map, adding new spirit boon bonuses, impressive swords, and hitscan weapons, along with a formidable new adversary: Shogun X, the roaming boss. Alongside these fresh elements, players have also encountered changes to gameplay that haven’t sat well with everyone, sparking some dissatisfaction among the community.

As players dive into Chapter 6, they’ve noticed that the XP earning system feels different—streamlined, yet not necessarily for the better. A significant fix was also implemented for LEGO Fortnite Quest XP, which now offers a much more generous 25,000 XP as opposed to the paltry 700 XP.

Whether Epic will further adjust these elements remains uncertain, but it’s clear the game’s popularity hasn’t waned. In fact, Fortnite continues its reign as a fan favorite, exemplified by Chapter 2 Remix shattering its own concurrent player records during the climactic finale event.
