Anyway, they mentioned, like cryptically, that we’d know more this summer. What does that even mean? Summer’s like a whole season, not a set date, guys!
So here we are, smack dab in mid-July — wait, is anyone else sweating buckets? — and we’re all still twiddling our thumbs. But hey, plot twist! Activision’s finally breaking the silence. We’ve been promised to get another peek in August. Yep, they’re telling us to pencil the game into our calendars for gamescom Opening Night Live. It’s happening Tuesday, August 19, just in case you’ve lost track of the days like I did.
And here’s an interesting tidbit—these Call of Duty games usually get their own big reveal hoopla, all separate from the usual summer bonanza. Like, it’s such a big deal usually, but I’m not complaining about the change of scenery. Are you? Anyway—and oh, by the way, the show’s going live. The Black Ops 7 folks have been tight-lipped about a lot—especially about the game hitting this near-future vibe again, and oh, a co-op campaign’s coming back.
