Alright, so get this: there’s this PS5 game everyone was buzzing about, but now it’s gone poof from the schedule. Ever hear of Ken Levine? Yeah, the guy behind BioShock. His new game, Judas, was supposed to grace our consoles by now. But, nope! Nada from Ghost Story Games or Take-Two Interactive. What gives?
So, we had this thing back in Feb 2023 — Take-Two’s big guy, Strauss Zelnick, was like, “Oh yeah, Judas is totally coming by March 2025.” Was he crossing fingers behind his back? Maybe. He was talking to IGN then and seemed pretty chill about it. He did mention that delays are like, possible, but hey, no biggie, right?
Fast forward to yesterday. Boom. Bomb drop! The publisher blurts out that GTA 6 isn’t coming until May 2026. That’s a whole other rabbit hole, but guess what? Not a peep about Judas. Just crickets.
And then there’s this spicy tidbit from a year ago, courtesy of Jason Schreier over at Bloomberg. He was hinting that Judas was stuck in this development limbo — gotta love those insider whispers. Some folks say Levine’s leadership style was turning developers into burnt toast. Ouch.
So, here we are, scratching our heads, wondering if Judas will ever actually appear. Is it in gaming purgatory? Honestly, who even knows at this point.
