So, the Mix Summer Showcase happened. This thing was like—over 90 minutes of rapid-fire peeks at new games. Used to be called Guerrilla Collective, by the way. Not that it matters, but maybe it does. Anyway, it’s just one out of a zillion indie events orbiting around the Summer Game Fest. And unlike those colossal game intros that are, you know, just trailers and nothing else, some games here—wait for it—actually have demos you can play right now. Gasp.
So I had this list of nine games that just screamed at me. Or maybe they whispered, “Check us out!” Some were shiny and new, like never-seen-before kind of deal. Others, well, they were old news but somehow slipped through my memory cracks, then they suddenly had fresh trailers with more—what do you call it—story, universe, and gameplay stuff.
But seriously, there are tons more—like a whole truckload of games worth eyeballing and adding to your wishlist. Or not. Whatever floats your boat. Anyway, there’s a video below where you can get even more of this gaming goodness. Go ahead, feast your eyes. Or don’t. Your choice.
