Sure thing! Here’s a reimagined version of the article.

Hey, so Resolution Games just threw a sneak peek of their new Dungeons & Dragons twist on Demeo. Yeah, the VR tabletop game that’s got everyone hooked. I don’t know why these games pull me in, but they do!
Anyway, this collab with Hasbro’s Wizards of the Coast was revealed back in January. Fast forward, and now we finally get a look at Demeo x DUNGEONS & DRAGONS: Battlemarked — some action snippets, settings, and all that jazz. Honestly, it feels like regular Demeo, which isn’t a bad thing. Up to four folks can team up to duke it out in dungeons crawling with monsters. It’s weirdly satisfying.
If Demeo’s a mystery to you, it’s all about these fast-paced, turn-based skirmishes on gridded maps. You move based on action points and make or break your day with a dice roll. Never thought a simple die could cause so much drama: One sword for a hit, two for a great one, and a skull for… let’s just say failure hits hard. Oh, and those action cards — they kinda switch things up with all sorts of attacks, defenses, and magical goodies depending on who you’re playing.
As expected, this edition keeps the VR/flatscreen blend, letting you switch between your trusty monitor and VR headset (Quest 3/S, PSVR 2, you name it). I can’t decide if I prefer flatscreen to VR — they both have this…vibe, you know?
Oh, and get this — it hits the shelves (virtually, I reckon) in late 2025. The details are murky, but they teased an additional adventure lined up for launch and more platform reveals. Matt Sernett — yeah, the one with his hands all over Baldur’s Gate and Icewind Dale — is steering the story, so I’m crossing my fingers for something legendary.
Meanwhile, you can add Demeo x DUNGEONS & DRAGONS: Battlemarked to your wishlist. It’s up on the Horizon Store for Quest 3 and Quest 3S, and of course, the PlayStation Store and Steam.
I’m pretty stoked about this one. Maybe it’ll be what finally gets me through the backlog of games. Or not. We’ll see.
