Hey there, crazy times in the WNBA world this 2025 season, right? So, guess what? Meta’s playing ball again, streaming a bunch of games on Quest. Yup, we’re talking Xtadium and Horizon Worlds NBA Arena. It’s like having courtside seats—without the overpriced popcorn.
Quest is throwing down with 20 live games this season. Personally, I feel that’s like a gift. And, oh man, five of them are in this wild 180-degree immersive video. Imagine being right there, trying not to spill your virtual soda.
Xtadium’s got your back if you’re in the US. It’s loaded with live stuff and on-demand goodies. And if you’re into hosting your own watch party, Xtadium’s your venue. Or get social and jump into a public party at NBA Arena on Horizon Worlds. Ever tried explaining to someone why you’re waving at an avatar? Awkward, but fun.
Starting May 27th, virtual swag? Yup, avatar merch in NBA Arena. I never thought I’d care about digital sneakers, but here we are.
Geo-restrictions, though. Ugh. Like, why can’t we just watch everything, everywhere? Some games might be no-go zones if you’re too close to the real action. Annoying, right? But hey, at least the schedule’s packed:

- July 3: Immersive Sparks at Liberty // 4:00 PM PT
Skipping around a bit here:

- September 4: Immersive Wings at Valkyries // 7:00 PM PT

Honestly, I’m hyped. The mix of tech and hoops is wild, and I kinda love it. Maybe it’s nostalgia or sheer excitement, but there’s something about seeing the game evolve like this. Anyway, gotta gear up for that immersive experience. Or maybe I’ll just zone out for a bit. Who knows?
