Ah, geez. So here’s the thing—looks like the Konami code for costumes isn’t happening until, um, version 1.3.0 or something. Not that I’m counting the days or anything. But hey, maybe Nintendo’s got something up their sleeves? Or maybe not. Who knows.
Anyway, so there’s this new update for Mario Kart World. And guess what? It’s fixing stuff. Very Nintendo of them, if you ask me. The patch notes—those lovely lists of tweaks and tinkers—are all there, somewhere online. They mention these obscure course fixes. You know, the kind of details you never realized needed fixing until, well, they did. Oh, and now there’re signals when you find all those switches and Peach medallions in free roam. A small victory, I’d say.
And get this—you can finally pick who to watch in online modes. I mean, was anyone else thinking how silly it was that this wasn’t a thing before? Maybe it’s just me. Also, version 1.2 ramps up the chances for lap courses to pop up in “Vs Race” and wireless races. I guess it’s a change, or maybe it’s just one of those things that happens and you roll with it.
So yeah, there ya go.
