Okay, so here’s the deal—brace yourself for some good-old-fashioned chaos with a mix of Star Wars and K-Pop. Yeah, I know, sounds wild, right? If you’d told me my latest obsession, that Netflix thing everyone’s raving about—KPop Demon Hunters—would somehow mesh with my all-time fave, Star Wars, I probably would’ve laughed it off. Seriously, Cal Kestis chilling with Rumi, Zoey, and Mira? Nah. But here we are.
Turns out, the only thing these peeps care about is looking cool while trashing their enemies. Makes sense, huh?
So, I stumbled upon this flashy video by AnimatedJen. Trust me, it’s a kickass start to your morning if you’re into that sort of jolt. Imagine this—“How It’s Done” from HUNTR/X blaring in the background as Cal Kestis, Bode Akuna, and Nightsister Merrin drop some serious beatdowns on Empire grunts. They’re not free-falling out of planes or anything, but man, their moves in that clip are something else.
“Oh, you want more of this?” Bode asks, and bam! Cal’s already kicking a shoretrooper’s butt. Next thing, Bode swoops in with his jetpack and knocks the lights out of another. Merrin does this epic twirl with her staff, and wow, I’m over the moon, only a minute in.
Been following AnimatedJen for ages—always amazed by their passion. Imagining Cal as an Inquisitor? Yes, please! Star Wars fans are a whole mood, though. They take these stories and make them their own. Is it likely we’d see canon Cal, Merrin, and (ugh) Bode jamming to K-Pop while dealing with stormtroopers? Nope. But hey, in this wild universe, anything goes. I’m dubbing them MANT/S, and yeah, maybe Cere Junda is their manager? Can someone put this on AO3 for me? Also, modders out there, those outfits need to happen. Much appreciated.
Catch me firing up Jedi: Fallen Order with “Takedown” blasting. Time to hack through some Empire goons.
