Oh wow, so yeah, another Summer Game Fest passed by and guess what? We witnessed tons of games again. Big surprise, right? Anyway, off to LA we trekked like some sort of game-hungry pilgrims. Didn’t expect to see so many titles, to be honest. From tiny indie gems to massive triple-A beasts, we saw it all, well kinda. Some stuff was behind closed doors. You get the picture.
### Bits and Pieces, Honors or Something
Let’s talk about those no-touchy demos first, yeah? Resident Evil Requiem, for example. If you dig tense vibes and the usual fear-factory from Capcom, you’ll probably love where this is heading. Back to Raccoon City — because why not return to a classic horror hangout? This “addictive fear” thing, though. Hmm. Anyway, first- and third-person cameras give you options, I guess.
And then, there’s Onimusha: Way of the Sword. Exactly the kind of game you’d expect if you’re into Japanese folklore, action, and stuff. Never played Onimusha? No? You might want to keep an eye out regardless. Capcom plans to toss more gameplay our way soon, hopefully.
Oh, and Directive 8020 by Supermassive? Hands-on experience but still limited. Sneaking around a shape-shifting space terror gets your pulse up for sure. More details on ComingSoon, if you’re into that sort of thing.
### The Bandit Trap Experience
So, I’m a Wii U fan — shamelessly. Asymmetrical multiplayer, anyone? Bandit Trap brings you cartoon chaos mixed with Home Alone traps. Three players go bandit-style, one sets traps. Simple but sounds fun, right?
### Crimson Desert Anybody?
Let’s talk names. ‘Crimson Desert’ isn’t winning any awards for originality. Confusing, to say the least. But if you get past that, think Witcher meets Dragon’s Dogma complexity. Magic gliders and hand-to-hand combat? Yeah, you bet it’s a thing.
### Deadpool in VR: Really?
Now, Deadpool in VR brought back Twisted Pixel’s comedy genius. Unlike games from a decade ago (holy moly, time flies!), this one’s hilarious. Neil Patrick Harris voicing Deadpool? Yep. Hope it hits PlayStation VR2 because fans deserve the chaos.
### Dosa Divas Deliciousness
Paper Mario vibes with a spicy twist, anyone? Dosa Divas packs RPG combat with dosa-making minigames. Family drama, evil fast food empire — loads of flavor, you know? If food and fun games are your thing, this one’s cooking up something special.
### Shooters with a Twist: FBC: Firebreak
Shooters are everywhere, aren’t they? But FBC: Firebreak — different animal. Mid-priced, skips the money-grabbing bits. Sticky note enemies, truly. Remedy’s quirky universe continues to expand.
### Marvel Cosmic Invasion Teaser
Marvel Cosmic Invasion had people buzzing, myself included. But hush-hush for now — curious, right? More info on ComingSoon.net once they let us spill the beans.
### Ninja Gaiden Shifts
Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound bucks the trend of its 3D siblings. Fast-paced, retro-inspired hack-and-slash with Kenji Mozu stepping in. PC demo available for eager ninjas.
### Pragmata Puzzling
Capcom’s Pragmata — delayed but intriguing. Puzzle-shooter hybrid with real-time brain teasers paired with robot blasting. Electric shotguns and mind games, what more could you want?
### Ratatan Rhythm
Never owned a PSP but here’s Ratatan for the Patapon lovers. Rhythm and roguelike blend into one cute, cuddly, button-timing adventure. Engaging? Absolutely.
### Wuchang’s Challenge
Soulslike territory here with Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. Dodging becomes an art, delivering special attacks with magic flair. Fans of tough challenges? You’d enjoy getting your behind handed to you initially.
So yeah, there it is — a monster of a list and a monster of a ride. Can’t wait to dive back into it all, right?
