Sure, let’s give this a go.

Okay, so here’s a thing I stumbled across while crunching on some late-night popcorn. Ever heard of Doug Jung? I mean, he wrote the 2016 Star Trek Beyond, for crying out loud. Anyway — wait, yeah — he’s gonna be in the driving seat for this new Mass Effect TV shindig. Crazy, right?
So, Deadline says that this Hollywood wizard, Jung, isn’t just scribbling stuff down for the series. Nope, he’s the big boss, showrunner and all. I guess that means telling everyone what’s what. Here’s a funny snippet: he also wrote The Cloverfield Paradox in 2018. I randomly remembered how the spaceship scenes made me super dizzy. Or maybe that was just the snacks?
Oh, and two episodes of Netflix’s Mindhunter. Big deal alert! Not like I watched it at 2 a.m. feeling like I’d suddenly become an armchair detective. Anyway, where was I? Yeah, he’s also got his fingers in that pie called Chief of War on Apple+. Seems like Jung never sleeps.
Also, he’s teaming up with Dan Casey and this Michael Gamble guy from EA. Basically, the masterminds behind the curtain. It feels like they’re setting up for an epic ride.
Amazon, who I swear will take over the universe one day, said “yup” to the Mass Effect series way back in November 2024. But hold on — when’s it dropping? No one’s spilling beans on that yet. The suspense!
Oh! Almost forgot. Speaking of Amazon, they threw out a Fallout TV series recently. Critics are eating it up, and apparently there’s more to come. Second season, people!
Alright, brain is full now. Time to unplug and let dreams of space adventures take over.
