Sure thing, let’s shake it up a bit:
—
So, earlier today, the big Honkai: Star Rail version 3.4 livestream dropped. And yup, right on schedule. I swear, there’s always a buzz with these things, especially when folks are hyped up about – you guessed it – the new characters. The livestream didn’t disappoint; they teased those fresh faces that’ll soon pop up in this wildly popular HoYoverse game.
But get this, the real headline is the Fate/stay night collab. Yeah, that epic crossover is almost here. Remember when they first whispered about it last August? Right around the same time, Fate/stay night got its English translation and a shiny remaster. Seriously, it felt like we’d be waiting forever for the crossover. But, ah well, nearly 10 months later, we’re almost there.
Oh, and I noticed this odd thing on the stream—some placeholder about targeting cookies. No idea why it stuck with me, but it did. Anyway, the new characters? We’ve got Saber, a 5-Star Wind/Destruction character with her own banner in the gacha. And Archer? You can snag him for free if you’re logged in during the collab. They’re sticking around longer than usual, too, right through till the end of Version 3.6, probably around November.
Not stopping there. Phainon finally makes the leap from NPC to playable character. If you’ve been around since Version 3.0, you get it. He’s this big deal. A 5-Star character armed with a Physical/Destruction kit. And yeah, all these new faces drop in Phase 1, unbound by the usual banner routine.
Speaking of banners, there’s a avalanche—a grand total of six reruns. Tribbie, Sunday, Sparkle—in Phase 1. Firefly, Jingliu, and Blade swing back in Phase 2. The latter phase, unusually, doesn’t introduce anyone fresh, but with all those returns, do we really care? Probably not.
And hey, for those Stellaron Hunters fans, they’re getting some upgrades in V3.4, tweaks to battle mechanics and Eidolon effects for Kafka, Silver Wolf, and Blade. Plus, Firefly scores a snazzy new outfit. Oh, and Jingliu’s getting a kit boost, and who knows, maybe she joins Elio’s gang. That team could use a bit of her chaos, wouldn’t you agree?
Mark your calendars for July 2nd—Honkai: Star Rail 3.4 goes live. The second banner phase shift kicks in on July 23rd. Wild ride, huh? Oh, there’s a VOD below if you fancy watching the whole special program.
Oh and hey, a throwback to May? Version 3.3 stuff happened. Hyacine debuted. The Herta made her return during the first phase. Then Cipher joined the party last week with some old pals. Oh, and the whole voice actor swap saga? Yup, that happened. Due to union actions with SAG-AFTRA. Now that’s a tale for another time. But yeah, it shook things up with Trailblazers Stelle and Caelus. Other character status? Honestly, who knows right now.
