Y’know, I was watching the Summer Game Fest kick-off and bam! Arc Raiders hit us with news everyone was crossing fingers for. Ever since May, after that second round of Tech Tests—early May if I’m remembering right—folks were practically glued to their screens, not wanting to let go.
And yeah, you’d think the game was ready to roll—some even shouted “release it already!” Guess what? We didn’t get the full release today, but those patient fans got the next best thing: a release date. Close enough?
Oh, about those eagerly waiting for another sneaky beta? That’s a nope for now. I swear, it’s like dangling a carrot in front of a bunny. Especially tough when you didn’t get to try Tech Test 2, right? Just watching others play—that was a lesson in patience.
Okay, here’s the big news drop: mark October 30, 2025, on your calendar! That’s when Arc Raiders hits PCs, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. I’m convinced this version is spruced up beyond Test 2—how much though? Well, gotta dive in to figure that out. Though, if we’re being honest, the game was already a solid rock, with vibes that take me back to when PUBG was king.
The folks at Embark seem tight with Geoff Keighley. Arc Raiders first popped up at The Game Awards back in ’21, back when it was supposed to be a co-op shooter. Funny how things change, huh?
And let’s not forget The Finals—Embark’s other gem—that just sort of appeared, poof, during the 2023 Game Awards. So, naturally, everyone was on edge for Arc Raiders news at this year’s fest. Guess it was worth the wait!
