Sure thing, here goes nothing:
So, I heard Bandai Namco’s up to something big this week. Yeah, you guessed it, they’re gonna stream this Summer Showcase thing for 2025. I mean, who even keeps track of time anymore? Anyway, it’s happening on a Wednesday, July 2nd — jot that down if you care — at all these different times: 12pm PT, 3pm ET, 8pm BST, and 9pm CEST. Why so many times? I guess they want the whole world to watch. Or maybe they’re just messing with our heads.
They’re teasing some big news about a new My Hero Academia game, which is cool if you’re into that sort of thing. And then there’s this whole parade of other titles—like they’re throwing a party and everyone’s invited. Code Vein II, Death Note (well that’s intriguingly ominous) something called Killer Within—sounds kinda intense, right? Oh, and Digimon Story Time Stranger. Not sure what that’s about, but hey, surprises are fun.
There’s more, though. A golf game with a curious name: Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots. Probably not my cup of tea, but who am I to judge? Little Nightmares III… I’m guessing that’s creepy? And what’s a “Patapon”? Feels like something you’d chant at a concert, but it’s a game. Here’s a wildcard: Shadow Labyrinth. Can anyone even find their way out of a shadow?
Moving on—oh wait, there’s Super Robot Wars Y. Don’t ask me why it’s Y and not X. Must be a story there. Tekken 8 is in the mix; yep, another round of smackdowns. And these other names—The Blood of Dawnwalker, Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree—like, wow, that’s poetic or something.
And before I forget, they’re streaming this whole thing. I think on YouTube, which makes sense since that’s where everyone seems to hang out online. If you’re at all into watching events unfold while silently judging from your couch, this might be your jam.
So, there you go. If you’re into video games or just enjoy watching announcements (because who doesn’t love a bit of hype?), you might wanna check it out. Or don’t. I’m not your parent.
