Nintendo Downloads – News Update for May 15, 2025

This week’s game release list dropped, and I swear it feels like things are slowing down. Or maybe it’s just me? Might it be that Switch 2 Day 1 was so hectic, I’m seeing phantom game trailers in my sleep. Or maybe it’s because Golden Week’s just passed and everyone’s in chill mode? We’ll dig into this on Saturday, but who even knows anymore.

Jumping into releases, turns out the game of the week is actually a bunch. Capcom’s dropping the Fighting Collection 2, dusting off some lesser-known gems — like Power Stone, remember that one? — and bundling them up for us. Thanks, Capcom, I guess? Meanwhile, Aksys and Otomate are serving up 7’scarlet, the priciest slice of the week. And yeah, before the launch, we gotta peek at Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade. Can’t decide if I should be excited or just mildly intrigued.

You’ve probably seen more at those game expos — like American Arcadia, thanks Team 17, and Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo from Fellow Traveller. I think there’re only two Korean Drone games so far, and they’ve already rocked into the Aldora Games level of ubiquitousness alongside Pix Arts. Fascinating, right?
