Oh man, where to start? So, here’s the thing — Into the Radius 2, yeah, it’s like this post-apocalyptic VR game that people are going nuts about. I mean, who’ve thought? Zombies or, uh, “Pechorsk anomalies” or whatever. Anyway, it’s been kicking around on PC VR headsets since, when was it? July 2024 or something. But here’s the kicker: it’s finally hitting the Quest. This month! Shocking, right?
So, it’s dropping on the Quest 3 and this fancy Quest 3S in early access on May 21st. Or at least, that’s what CM Games is saying. They do promise a full 1.0 version sometime next year, but you know how these things go. I mean, delays happen all the time.
Remember the first game? Into the Radius? Back from 2020? Yeah, this sequel’s got all that wandering-around-blowing-stuff-up vibe in this gnarly wasteland zone. But now, you can team up. Co-op mode! Finally, right? And not just with a buddy — they’re saying up to four players when it fully releases. A total squad.
Oh, but here’s the weird part. No crossplay between PC VR and Quest versions. Why? No idea. Maybe it’s a technical thing. Or maybe they just decided, eh, why bother.
The hype is real though. Apparently, Into the Radius 2 made like three million bucks on PC VR already. Half of that was just in the first week. So yeah, it’s a pretty big deal bringing it to the biggest VR platform out there.
No sign of a Horizon Store page yet, which kinda sucks. But the devs have some explainer thingy? Like a guide or whatever? Probably worth checking out if you’re thinking of diving into this chaotic mess. Good luck, explorers!
