Dead by Daylight Unveils April Content Plan

Behaviour Interactive recently unveiled what players can expect in April 2025 for the acclaimed survival horror game, Dead by Daylight. Since its debut in 2016, this asymmetric player-versus-player marvel has hooked over 60 million players worldwide, spanning multiple platforms.

The game’s enduring appeal can be largely attributed to its exciting crossovers over the years. Fans have seen the likes of Stranger Things, Silent Hill, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre leave their mark on the Dead by Daylight universe. As we head into April, the game’s roadmap promises a series of intriguing events and additions.

A major highlight this month is the much-anticipated Tokyo Ghoul crossover that kicked off on April 2. As part of the update, Ken Kaneki, better known as The Ghoul, joins the ranks of killers. Survivor enthusiasts, on the other hand, can look forward to a range of costumes inspired by the famed anime. Moreover, the roadmap confirms the comeback of the popular Blood Moon event scheduled from April 7 to April 29, offering enticing daily log-in bonuses.

On April 12, Dead by Daylight enthusiasts can gather at Horrorcon in Scotland for a special real-world event. This comes just before the next Player Test Build (PTB), set to debut on April 15. Unfortunately, not everything in April is cause for celebration. The Hellraiser chapter has been quietly removed from the game. Released in 2021, Pinhead swiftly became a cherished character amongst fans. The exact reasons for this removal are unconfirmed, but rumors hint at possible licensing complications. For those who previously unlocked Pinhead, the character is still playable, although his associated chapter has vanished.

Despite this hiccup, there’s plenty on the horizon for Dead by Daylight fans.
