Sure thing—let’s dive into this wild ride of a story about a VR game, just as a human might tell it:
So, picture this: there’s this game called Eldramoor: Haven in the Mist—yeah, that’s a mouthful, right? Anyway, Resolute Games is behind this whole excitement and launched some kind of crowdfunding thingamajig last month. And guess what? They hit over $100,000! Pretty nuts, huh? And it seems like this money train isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
I think they kicked off around June 24th. That’s what my brain is telling me, at least. They say they’re trying to bring back the good times from this other game, Orbus VR, which, if you’re unfamiliar, is like a VR MMO or something. I’ve never played it, but I hear people were obsessed. So, these ex-Orbus folks decided to just make another one. Why not?
It’s wild because—get this—it took them only about 1.5 hours to hit their initial target of $25,000. I mean, $25,000 feels like a drop in the bucket for making a game with all kinds of classes, quests, and magical whatevers, right? Oh, and cooking. Don’t forget the cooking.
Lynn M. Souza, who seems to be the big boss over there, had this plan to mimic something called “Zenith.” Honestly, no idea what that means, but I guess it was supposed to get things rolling quickly.
Since then, they’ve been dropping these stretch goals like confetti. There’s gonna be a ‘Bonfire’ thing for healing—sounds cozy—plus new abilities related to Earth and Air. And look, there’s even talk about a whole new species to play and some sort of guest access for player housing. Sounds like they’re building a whole universe.
Oh, and pets! Who doesn’t love pets? They’re adding pet abilities at some $125,000 milestone, and supposedly, these animals will actually be helpful. Go figure—cuddly and combat-ready.
They’re aiming to get this game out on Quest 3 and SteamVR in late 2026. That’s… a while away. But the Kickstarter is buzzing until July 24th, so plenty of time for people to jump on the bandwagon. If you want the nitty-gritty, you could probably google their Kickstarter or something. Not that I’m the one to tell you how to live your life.
So, there you have it. A bit chaotic, a bit all over the place—but isn’t that just how life (and games) are sometimes?
