Man, so listen up. There’s this game from 2019—yeah, I know, like ancient history in gaming years. It’s called “Children of Morta.” Found it on sale for $4.39 on the PS Store, and I’m like, hold up, this is part of some ‘July Savings’ thing, whatever that means in 2025. Anyway, it’s this action RPG deal made by Dead Mage and pushed out there by 11 Bit Studios. Oh, and it’s cool on PS5 too. Packed with stuff to do.
So, back to the sale: they chopped off 80% of the regular price. That’s not all. It’s got these add-ons, Ancient Spirits and Paws and Claws—super cheap now. Like, ridiculously cheap. If you’re on PS Plus, Ancient Spirits is $1.74. If you’re not, it’s $1.99. As for Paws and Claws? It’s like pocket change—$0.69 with PS Plus, $0.79 without. A total no-brainer, right?
Uh, where was I going with this? Oh yeah. The full-on edition of the game usually runs $26.99, so you’ve got ’til July 17 to jump on this. Seriously, mark that down or whatever people do nowadays.
Alright, onto the juicy stuff: the story. It’s all about the Bergson family—seven characters you can actually play. Seven! Basically, it’s an adventure with this family of heroes, battling some creepy Corruption thing that’s spreading everywhere. Guardians of something called the Mountain Morta need to stop this old evil. Sounds epic, right?
Oh, and get this, you can do local co-op with friends, and there’s this Family Trials mode separate from the campaign. Loads of unique gameplay stuff—different systems, items, objectives, character builds, the works.
Bottom line? If you’re looking to sink some hours into a game, especially at this steal of a price, Children of Morta is where it’s at. Trust me.
