Sure thing, let’s get into this with all the glorious randomness a human brain can cook up.

So, guess what today is? Honkai: Star Rail day, people! Woohoo! Everyone is buzzing about this collab that’s been teased forever. Yeah, we’re talking about the Fate/stay night hookup. It dropped after patch 3.4—you can bet it’s more than just your average content drop. But wait, am I jumping ahead? Hang with me here.
Oh, and cookies? Not the edible kind, nope. Just the web ones. No clue why I’m even mentioning cookies, but there you go.
If you caught that livestream in June, you probably know what’s up. Sure, everyone’s losing it over the Fate characters. There’s Saber, right? And Archer, doing their thing in the game. But let’s not get all starry-eyed just yet — these guys aren’t drifting off anytime soon. Rumor mill says they’ll be around until who knows when. Maybe November?
Speaking of, Saber comes crashing in as a 5-Star Wind/Destruction hero. Archer? He’s your go-to Quantum/Hunt guy, and you’ll snag him just by logging in. Easy peasy. Level 60 kit included. Saber’s a bit trickier—you’ll have to pull some strings, or pulls, literally. Archer’s kind of like a limited-time freebie. Saber, not so much.
Oh, banners. Four of them, actually. They’re for Saber and Archer plus their light cones (whatever those are—still figuring that out, TBH). Good luck with drop rates and stuff, but get this: after 200 whatchamacallits, you’re guaranteed Saber’s light cone. Sounds intense.
Okay, this next bit’s odd. No English voiceovers for the Fate crew? MiHoYo’s got a beef with US voice actors over the SAG-AFTRA thing. Strange times, seriously.
Now, before I wander elsewhere, let’s touch on this new Trailblaze thingy called Sweet Dreams and the Holy Grail. Yeah, yeah, combat challenges galore. It’s a 30-day gig until August 11 if my memory serves me right. Miss it? No worries, it gets tossed into Conventional Memoir later. But time-limited rewards? Better hurry.
And there’s more! Early this month — okay, like, recent enough — Phainon joined as a playable. Longtime NPC turned 5-Star wonder with a Physical/Destruction vibe. Fancy that. Oh, and don’t forget the Phase 1 reruns from July 2. Tribbie’s back, and a slew of others. Firefly, in Phase 2 on July 23, even rocked a new outfit. Nice!
Finally—finally!—3.4’s updates gave some characters a boost. Kafka, Silver Wolf, Blade—yup, all of them. Jingliu’s timing’s spot on too, got some tweaks as well.
But, oh wait, I’m rambling. Anyway—where was I going with this? Maybe a cup of coffee will help. Or not. Depends on the day. Catch you in-game, maybe!
